About Us

With a great location in the heart of Wellington City the West Plaza Hotel offers a welcoming, friendly atmosphere, spacious and comfortable rooms, award winning dining and service excellence. Close to the airport and South Island ferry terminal and just a short walk to the Wellington waterfront, Te Papa, and the best shops, restaurants and entertainment the capital has to offer. * 102 guest rooms including 7 suites * Accessible guest rooms and wheelchair access to all public areas * City & Dining for brasserie style a la carte dining * 24 hour room service * Conference and function facilities catering for up to 200 people * 1 GB Free WIFI * Car parking is available at $25 per night and is subject to availability based on a first in first serve basis and cannot be reserved. Parking is located at the Bond Street entrance of the hotel (from Victoria Street turn left on to Bond Street). Pull into the tiled area of the hotel and advise reception staff that parking is required. *On check in we require a valid Credit Card for pre authorisation. If you have a Debit Card (debit cards are not deemed to be credit cards)or if a credit card is not available on check-in we will require a minimum $100 bond. This bond will be refunded once your room is checked on departure. Please note that a surcharge of 2% will apply for any incidents paid at the hotel by credit card. Payments by cash or Eftpos do not attract this fee. Reception is manned 24 hours so feel free to arrive anytime.
