About Us
Boasting an outdoor swimming pool with spa pool, Warkworth Lodge is a 3.5-star boutique motel just 5 minutes? walk from cafes, restaurants, shops and the Mahurangi River. Guests can enjoy local wine and cheese by the fire place in winter or by the pool in summer, that are available on request. There is free unlimited WiFi. There are a range of accommodations options at Warkworth Lodge, including Studio units with kitchen and bathroom facilities, Family room with kitchen, bathroom facilities and a balcony with a view. Villa rooms feature en-suite bathrooms and some rooms offer a terrace. Also, there are double and twin rooms. Reception is open 24 hours every day. There are free barbecue facilities, a newly renovated communal kitchen and lounge area with satellite TV. Centrally located in Warkworth village and centre of the Matakana Coast Wine Country, the lodge offers free car parking and activities desk. Auckland International Airport is a 70-minute drive away. Airport shuttle service is available on request at a charge. Guests can enjoy the beaches, vineyards, restaurant and local markets. By arrangement Daily Wine Tours leave at 12.30 noon to explore the many Matakana vineyards. PET POLICY Pets are welcome inside provided that they bring their own beds, and are well behaved. There is a charge of $25.

Lovely old home . We booked in for one night and ended up staying for another. Close to town for shopping and dining out. Lovely walk down to the falls. Enjoyed being able to cook our own breakfast in the fully equipped kitchen. Barry cuff.

Loved the fact that dogs were allowed - that was the whole reason we stayed. Clean, modern unit. Well stocked kitchen with microwave & also a frypan + hot plate if more extensive cooking was required. Within walking distance to several restaurants & takeaway places. Also close to supermarket. Nice to sit by the pool with an evening drink even though it was too cold to swim (for us). Couldn't want for anything more. Would stay again.

Yes the room was clean. We arrived after 7pm, windows still open. Had a few mosquitoes in the room. Also it was cold. Though there was a heater there but the room is so small. With the bed, lounge, armchair, huge coffee table, small table and chairs. No extension cord for the heater.i was unsure where to plug it, because of it near the furniture. And the tv unsure what size but its probably the smallest ive seen. And very noisy, we could hear the music playing not sure weather it was from a local pub nearby. For $185 for 3 people, i would not recommend it to friends.
